Eric M. Ruiz is a NYC based writer and strategist from Modesto. CA. He helped launch Waze Ads in Latin America and now writes about the differences that make us the same.
After graduating from Modesto Junior College in 2007, Eric transferred to San Diego State where he studies International Business and Foreign Languages.
In early 2012, he began interning at Waze, learning under CEO Noam Bardin and VP of Growth, Di-Ann Eisnor. He then became the first Sales Manager with the debut of Waze Ads in November of that year.
In 2014, he moved to New York City but spent of his time flying to and from Latin America, leading the launch of Waze Ads in the region.
