With 10 days to go until my birthday, I wanted to share 10 tips that have made my first 25 years on this earth amazing. I’m sure you will disagree with some if not all, but I hope you find at least one tip that makes your life a bit easier or more enjoyable.
I am certain that some of are looking at this post skeptically. You’re probably wondering what gives me the right to write a post where I delve out advice. Really, the only qualifier I have for writing something like this is simple: I’m happy.
I’ll be 26 soon, and while I have a long way to go, I am quite happy in my personal and professional life.
The last three years have been especially volatile. In that time frame I went from graduating college, being unemployed, borrowing money from my sister to go out, drinking heavily, moving to the bay area, working for a hot startup and finally overseeing a whole region for said startup.
It’s been wild. Along this roller coaster ride, I took note of shortcuts or rules, if you will that made my progress easier or more enjoyable. A lot of these I learned by playing with fire and get burned. So my hope is that you skip the baptism.
