In the first installment of Hustle 101, I sit down with Matt DeCelles and talk about entrepreneurship, sunglasses and getting rejected (then funded) on Kickstarter.

Matt DeCelles is a 25 year old consultant, speaker and entrepreneur. An Alumni of SDSU, Matt was a Fellow in the Lavin VentureStart Program. He also served as the President of The  Entrepreneurial Society at SDSU until his graduation, in 2010.

You can learn more about Liquid Shades here and watch Skip’s hilarious Kickstarter videos here.

Hustle 101 is a series that follows the entrepreneurial pursuits of twenty-somethings. Want to share your story? Drop me a line!

It sounds like Matt is starting a new Free Masons. Or Illuminati. Or Travelling Pants of the Yaya Sisterhood.

Great Job! You are both inspiring! Really enjoyed the interview and all the great wisdom from two young awesome guys! I love how you guys don’t sit back, but you go after life, from thinking up businesses to shipping product, getting on Kickstarter when the odds are against you, and making a sick blog. Getting after life while holding your balls – something like that :)
