“Stephen Key is the most consistently successful inventor I’ve ever met, with millions in royalties from companies like Disney, Nestle and Coca Cola.” Tim Ferriss, author of the New York Time’s Best Seller “The 4 Hour Work Week”
What I enjoyed about Stephen’s book is that he walks you through step by step and shows you how to make your ideas a reality. I always believed that for every idea I had I needed to get an LLC, file a patent, ignore my friends, and pray that a similar product didn’t show up on shelves before mine. Stephen shows you that this is not the case!In fact, he’ll show you how to “cannibalize” and create a prototype for under $15! Along the way he tells insightful stories from his own experience including how he stumped a major corporation and how he put a “bullish” twist on a basketball hoop. Stephen doesn’t stop there. He proves to you that anyone with ambition and creativity (or a knack for finding creative people) can get an idea licensed. He provides numerous helpful examples of students licensing their ideas. Some of the students even did so without patents!
I highly recommend this book to anyone with entrepreneurial ambitions. The walk through, the examples and the resources are amazing and helpful.
